Lewis Hamilton caps title-winning 2018 in Abu Dhabi: Vettel admits he deserved

Five-time world Champion Lewis Hamilton has won the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix  with a superb run from pole position. Sebastian Vettel was in second for Ferrari and Max Verstappen was in third for Red Bull. “It has been a real honour and privilege racing against Sebastian. He has always been an honest, hardworking racing driver. There is so much pressure on us all. Don't ever look at our shortcomings as anything other than us doing our best,” said Hamilton after the winning race. “Fernando: a true legend. It has been a real honour and a privilege to be racing in the era he has been racing. I think the sport will miss him and I will miss him being in the sport.” Vettel admits, Hamilton deserves the win. “He [Hamilton] is the champion and he deserves to be the champion. It has been a tough year but I think...I tried everything until the last lap,” said Vettel. “I enjoyed catching a little bit. I would have liked it to be a bit more wheel to wheel. Congrats. Our whole team will try to come back stronger to make sure we give him a harder run. Well done to Fernando. I think the last years have been very tough for him but we have missed him and we will miss him.”
