L’Equipe: Arsenal could launch last-minute bid for Manchester United star

Arsenal could make a last-minute bid for Manchester United star Ander Herrera, who is out of contract at the end of the season. He has made 26 appearances overall during this season and scored and assisted 3 times. The 29-year-old is ready to leave Old Trafford for free this summer after contract talks break down. It has been reported, that Herrera has demanded wages of £200,000 per week to sign a new deal with Red Devils. When asked about his future at Manchester United, Herrera told Spanish publication ABC : “It’s true that I only have two months on my contract left, and today, Manchester [United] and I aren’t thinking the same and there is no renewal agreement, but my duty is to keep listening to United. “What I know is that I’m going to continue playing in a big team. Obviously, I will keep listening to United, but also to other clubs. I am not closing doors.” Paris Saint Germain have reportedly offered a three-year, £180k-a-week deal for Herrera. However, according to L’Equipe, Arsenal are in the hunt for the player.
