Leicester City star opens up on joining Tottenham after Mourinho’s takeover

Leicester City star Ricardo Pereira has talked about Jose Mourinho after his appointment as Tottenham head coach and a possible move to Spurs stating he feels good and happy at Leicester. Jose Mourinho was hired as Tottenham manager the day after Mauricio Pochettino had been sacked due to Spurs' poor start to the season. In his interview with the Portuguese newspaper Record he was asked about his compatriot Jose Mourinho coming back and taking over Spurs to which he replied: “Yes, of course, he’s been missed! He’s one of the best coaches in the world. It’s always good for us Portuguese people to get back to work here in England. He’s one of the big names in Portuguese football. He’ll be able to show his value again, he’ll be back in the spotlight. It’s more of a challenge for him.” About his possible move to the north London club he said: “This is news you’re giving me (laughs). I don’t follow the English press, I care more about the Portuguese. I don’t know anything! For now, I stay the same. I feel good here, I only think of Leicester.
