Leicester City have identified a replacement for Ben Chilwell, who has been linked with a move away from the club. Chelsea’s relentless pursuit has no doubt forced the Foxes to start looking at potential replacements just in case.
They have already been linked to the likes of Ryan Bertrand and Nicolás Tagliafico, and that may not be the end of the list. According to Greek outlet Sportime, Olympiacos left-back, Konstantinos Tsimikas has emerged as one of the favourites to fill the boots of Chilwell.
Tsimikas is one of the highest-rated players in the Greek league and his performances over the course of the season have made the big clubs take notice. According to the report, both Merseyside clubs have expressed an interest in the Greek international, with Liverpool wanting a deputy for Andrew Robertson.
The 24-year-old has been with Olympiacos for six years now, and has become a first-team regular after loan spells with Esbjerg and Willem II. Last season, Tsimikas hit five assists in 20 league games, and impressed in the Champions League, picking up an assist against Bayern Munich.
