Leicester City boss Brendan Rodgers has provided a boost over Jamie Vardy and Wilfred Ndidi as they could return from their injuries against Wolves on Sunday.
Foxes managed to pick up three points on Wednesday, as they beat Fulham with the score of 2-0 with Kelechi Iheanacho and James Justin scoring for their side.
In his post-match press conference, Rodgers stated that with a few more days training, they would be close to ready to feature against Wolves.
“We’re very hopeful they (Vardy, Iheanacho) will be back,” Foxes boss said.
“I spoke to the medical team today. They’ve been out running and with another few days training, we’re confident they will be involved.”
Unfortunately, there was some bad news that followed, with Rodgers confirming that the scans of Wesley Fofana’s hamstring showed he could be out for a month.
Rodgers added on the Frenchman:
“The medical guys are telling me four to five weeks. It’s a shame because he’s been brilliant for us.”
