Leeds United's Raphinha makes Champions League claim amid Liverpool links

  Raphinha has spoken out on playing in the Champions League in the near future amid Liverpool links. Leeds United star has been in fine form during this season both for the country and the club. The Leeds star made 5 appearances for Brazil in the World Cup qualifiers and scored two goals as well as provided two assists. Meanwhile, for the Whites, Raphinha has made 10 appearances in which he has scored 5 goals. And his impressive performances for both Brazil and Leeds have led to speculations linking him with Liverpool. While on international duty, Raphinha gave an interview to Spanish Diario AS (translated via Joe Brennan) and was asked if he would like to play in the Champions League in the near future. He responded: "Of course I would. I am very happy at Leeds and hopefully we can play in the Champions League.”
