Patrick Bamford has hailed Harry Kane labelling him as the best striker the world.
Leeds United striker has earned his first England call-up, as the Three Lions prepare for their World Cup qualifier against Hungary on Thursday night.
England then host Andorra on Sunday before travelling to Poland for a third qualifier against Poland on Wednesday evening.
And Bamford is delighted to be sharing a training pitch with Kane, as he thinks the Three Lions skipper is the best at what he does and is someone he can learn from.
Speaking to talkSPORT, the 27-year-old striker said: “I’ve not really modelled my game on Harry [Kane].
“For me, he’s the best striker in the world as an out-and-out No.9.
“But there are certain aspects where I look up to him and see where I can improve. Even in training I saw how crisp his contacts with the ball is when he’s finishing.
“I don’t know if our game is as similar as people make out because I run in behind a lot more and there are different aspects of it but there are definitely things I can learn from him.”
