Leeds United centre-back Pascal Struijk has issued an apology to Harvey Elliott after causing a horrible injury to Liverpool youngster in Sunday's clash.
The Reds traveled to Elland Road yesterday and picked up three points after scoring three unanswered goals to Leeds.
However, in the 60th minute, Elliott was subjected to an awkward challenge from Struijk and was forced off with a broken ankle.
Leeds defender then received a red card leaving the Whites with ten men.
