LeBron James sends Lakers team-mates warning after defeat

The Los Angeles Lakers were battered in the first quarter and found themselves 42-17 behind before fighting back to lose 107-121 to Toronto Raptors. Following the game, LeBron James has sent his side a warning. “Second, third and fourth we played Lakers basketball,” James said. “First quarter we came out sluggish as we got in late. You have to learn from it but you don’t put too much on it. You get games like this in an 82-game season, where you just don’t have it. We had it in spurts, but for the majority, we didn’t have it. “For me, and what I’ve experienced in this league, you have to stay even keel. Just as bad you can play for a month, you can round out a great month or two. When you come in for games, for practises or film sessions, you get better then. But you don’t let the outside noise get to you if you do it can cause you a problem.” The Lakers are next in action on Wednesday night, as they face the Minnesota Timberwolves.
