Lampard makes Ziyech transfer admission after £37m deal agreed

Frank Lampard has expressed his delight in signing Ajax star Hakim Ziyech. Ajax and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Ziyech. The player will join The Blues in July and will finish the season in Amsterdam. According to the report by the club, they have agreed on a deal of € 40 million euros. This sum could potentially increase to a maximum of € 44 million, with variable factors. “I think he's a fantastic player,” Lampard said. “He first came under my eyeliner in their run in the Champions League last year. I thought he was one of their stand out players. We have played against him twice this season so I know a lot about him.” Chelsea boss acknowledged that Ziyech can provide quality of Eden Hazard. “When you look at us this season there have been games where we have struggled to unlock the door and he is certainly a player we hope he can bring that bit of creativity, something different for us, scores goals, assists, so excited.  I know he's not coming now but it's something exciting for us as a club and the fans to have him next year.” The 41-year-old admitted the club tried to bring Ziyech in during the transfer window last month. “We tried but it was not possible. We all know how the January transfer window works. You respect that clubs that have top players want to keep them but that's done and we will have him for next season.” Source: Daily Mail Join us on Telegram!
