The 21-year-old winger is Malaga’s youth system graduate and now plays for Villarreal. Castillejo made his professional debut for Malaga on August 29, 2014 in the 3-0 loss against Valencia. Interestingly, he scored his first senior goal against the same opponent on February 2, 2015.

He appeared wearing the Yellow Submarine’s all yellow jersey just 5 months later. Moreover, Atletico Madrid boss Diego Simeone is the biggest fan of Castillejo. The Argentine coach has repeatedly praised the Andalusian pearl in his interviews.

  1. Mikel Oyarzabal

This 19-year-old youngster was born in Eibar, province of Gipuzkoa, and started playing football in a local team before joining Real Sociedad, aged 14. He made his La liga debut for the Basque club on October 25, 2015, in the clash versus Levante.

The teenager represents Spain U19 team. Howbeit, Oyarzabal has already received a unique chance to be in the senior national team. Mikel was part of the group that played against Bosnia & Herzegovina and Switzerland. Moreover, he was granted some playing time after replacing Nolito against the Swiss side.

In addition to excellent technique, he has an eye for a pass and genuine pace. “I see him grow from day to day. Everything that he brings to the side is positive and as a coach I’m very happy with him,” Real Sociedad head coach Eusebio Sacristan said.

  1. Diego Llorente

Real Madrid’s canterano is one of the most promising Spanish players. The 22-year-old defender spent one year in Rayo Vallecano on loan. Now he has been given to Malaga for another one-year “internship”.

Llorente has already proven his qualities last year. Nevertheless, now it’s the ideal time for Diego to shine with all his brightness. And it’s not a surprise, that the Spaniard has already played for his country’s national team, featuring in the Spain – Switzerland encounter.

  1. Marco Asensio

Another Real Madrid starlet who can gain ground. The 20-year-old playmaker is one of the main hopes of the country. His intelligence, hard work and determination are things that many other players of his profile lack.

After a year spent in Espanyol on loan, Asensio is eager to convince Zinedine Zidane of his usefulness. The Mallorca-born youngster have already rejected offers from dozens of Spanish clubs and will surely add some fire to the league.

  1. Samuel Umtiti

Barcelona’s newcomer is called to finally solve existing problems in the centre of defence.

Despite his high quality football, Javier Mascherano is living his last months in the club. On the other hand, Umtiti was brilliant in Euro 2016. He eventually earned a starting place there, pushing Adil Rami out of the squad.

Creating a duo with Gerard Pique, the 22-year-old Frenchman can become even stronger. It’ll surely be a pleasure to follow his matches in Catalan club’s shirt.
