Kylian Mbappe has suggested he could move away from Ligue 1 in order to avoid the "tiring" criticism he faces from the French media.
The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with big-name clubs including Real Madrid and Liverpool. This season Mbappe has been impressing as always, scoring 30 goals and providing 9 assists in his 36 games for PSG.
The France international has talked about the "tiring" criticism he receives from the media and also his contract situation during a frustrated interview after France's 1-0 win over Bosnia and Herzegovina on Wednesday.
"Of course it gets tiring," Mbappe told
RTL.
"Especially when you play for a club in your country and you give everything for your national team. After a while it gets tiring.
"It's different for players who play abroad and only come back here for the national team.
"I'm there all the time, they speak about me a lot more. It's a different context [to other players], but I knew it would be like that when I signed for Paris. We'll see.
"The most important thing is to feel good where you are, and to have fun every day."
"If it had progressed, I would have come to talk about it already," said Mbappe on his contract situation.
"Of course, I will talk about it when I have made up my mind."
