Kyle Walker reveals the attitude of Manchester United fans ahead of the derby

Manchester City star Kyle Walker says there are many Manchester United fans who want their team to lose Man City in the derby, so that Liverpool will not win their first ever Premier League title. Cityzens are currently second in the table with one game played less than Liverpool, which is the derby. If Pep Guardiola’s side beat Man United, they will go to the top after equal amount of games and then everything will be in their hands. Man City will face Burnley (Away), Leicester City (Home) and Brighton & Hove Albion (Away) and many pundits say it is the Manchester derby that will decide the title race. “United fans are in a difficult situation obviously.” Walker told The Telegraph.  When I’m out and about or walking my dogs, United fans are coming up to me saying, ‘We’d rather City win the league than Liverpool’. “It’s strange to hear but I can assure you the United players aren’t going to leave a red carpet and say, ‘Go on City, score past us’.” he added. Man City have won the first Manchester derby of the season at Etihad 3-1. Man United are currently not in their best mood after suffering a massive defeat at Goodison Park from Everton, 4-0. Ole-Gunnar Solskjaer has revealed that this is the time to prove they are a good team, but City remain favourites in derby.
