Toni Kroos will have to miss the remaining part of the year. The player was diagnosed with foot injury in Germany national team camp.
Real Madrid have released a statement to announce the latest update on his injury: “After tests carried out today in Germany on Toni Kroos under the supervision of the Real Madrid Medical Services, he has been diagnosed with a fracture-avulsion of the base of the fifth metatarsal in the right foot. The injury was picked up in the last league game against Leganés. His recovery will continue to be monitored.”
Early assessments indicate that Kroos will have to miss up to 2 months, which rules him out from participating both in Derby Madrileno vs Atletico and El Clasico against Barcelona.
