Golden State Warriors faced Los Angeles Lakers and suffered a 97-128 defeat on Monday. During the game, Stephen Curry passed Guy Rodgers as the Warriors' all-time assists leader.
Following the game, Klay Thompson sent a message to his Splash Brother and congratulated him on the achievement.
"Congratulations Steph, on becoming the Warriors All-Time Assist Leader and passing Guy Rodgers, who was a great player!" said Klay.
"And our pops probably played against them too, now that I think about it.
"Well, on that note, I am twenty percent of all of your assists made. Thank you for making me look so good.
"To be exact, that's actually 965 of them. I am not going to say I can remember each one of them.
"But you know, the one that stands out is probably the flick underneath during the 37-points quarter, left-handed across the court.
"The lob you threw me in that game, too.
"So many great moments, my man! And I can't wait to make more with you.
"And run that wing again, obviously two-on-one, I'm stopping at the three...you know this.
"Congratulations to the greatest Warrior of all-time, Steph Curry. And becoming the All-Time Assists Leader. More to come, my brother."
