Klay Thompson reacts to Doc Rivers powerful speech with Warriors relasing statement amid NBA boycott

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson has reacted to Doc Rivers' powerful message about the shooting of Jacob Blake in Kenosha, Wisconsin. Thompson shared prayers for Blake and his family, along with those demanding justice in Kenosha. When speaking about the Blake shooting, the Los Angeles Clippers coach delivered an emotional response inside the Orlando Bubble. He said: "It’s just so sad. What stands out to me just watching the Republican Convention, and they’re spewing this fear. All you hear is Donald Trump and all of them talking about fear. We’re the ones getting killed. We’re the ones getting shot. "We’re the ones that were denied to live in certain communities. We’ve been hung. We’ve been shot. And all you do is keep hearing about fear. It’s amazing to me why we keep loving this country, and this country does not love us back." Klay Thompson thanked Rivers for his powerful message: On Wednesday, the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted game five of their playoff series against the Orlando Magic in response to the Blake shooting in Kenosha. After the Bucks’ decision, players from the Los Angeles Lakers, Portland Trail Blazers, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Houston Rockets boycotted their scheduled games. The league later postponed all three playoff contests. The Warriors have issued a statement in the wake of the current situation: Source- Warriors Wire
