Kevin Philipps tipped Celtic to sign former Liverpool player Jordon Ibe

Celtic should sign Bournemouth winger Jordon Ibe on a free transfer, that's the verdict of former England and Sunderland striker Kevin Philipps. The former Liverpool player confirmed he will be leaving the club this summer when his contract expires. Ibe joined Bournemouth from Liverpool in 2016. His fee was a club-record £15million. However, he has only managed to score five goals and provide nine assists in 92 appearances for the club in all competitions. But Phillips thinks the winger can restart his career with a move to Celtic and he tipped the Scottish champions to sign him. In an interview with Football Insider Phillips said: “Jordon has frustrated people. He has a load of talent but it has not quite worked out. He might go to Celtic, play week in, week out and winning football matches. “It is amazing when you play for a side that is winning games you do not get as many injuries or pick up as many strains because you want to play every week. That could be a great move for him. Go and resurrect his career and show everyone what a top player he is.” Source: readceltic
