Kelechi Iheanacho has showed his love for the Leicester City fans as he chose his favourite moment so far.
The Nigerian striker, who signed a new three-year deal at the weekend, has named his second goal against Manchester United in last month’s FA Cup quarter-final as his favourite moment since swapping Manchester City for Leicester in 2017.
“I wanted to choose my hat-trick, but I am going to go for the one that qualified Leicester City for the first time in many years to the FA Cup semi-finals,” he told LCFC TV when reflecting on his favourite moment of the past four years.
“That is what they have been waiting for for many years, so I will take that as the best moment because the fans have been waiting for a long time and it happened in their life.
“It’s a great opportunity now for us to see if we can do more, if we can win and get to the final.”
This season Iheanacho has made 29 appearances for the Foxes, scored 12 goals and provided 5 assists.
