Karl-Heinz Rummenigge issues update on Niko Kovac’s future

Niko Kovac has long been linked with a move away from Bayern Munich, however, regardless of whether they win the Bundesliga or not. However, club’s CEO Karl-Heinz Rummenigge has had his say: “The report is a total duck.” Two draws in their last three games has seen Bayern miss valuable chances to claim their seventh-straight Bundesliga title with games in hand. Now, they must take a point against Eintracht Frankfurt on Saturday, who themselves are fighting for a Champions League place, in order to become German champions. Bayern could lift a pair of trophies in the next two games, however, their round-of-16 Champions League exit could still prove to be grounds to sack Kovac.
