Manchester United are going to be busy in the summer transfer window, in a bid to close the gap to Manchester City. While Ole Gunnar Solskjaer is finalising his preparations for the Europa League final, several players have been linked with the Red Devils. But here are the best and worst-case scenarios in the transfer window, according to Manchester Evening News.

MEN suggests that the dream scenario for Manchester United would be the case if three new players will to the club. Those players are Raphael Varane of Real Madrid as a potential partner for Harry Maguire. Borussia Dortmund’s winger Jadon Sancho, who wanted to join the club last summer and finally, Harry Kane of Tottenham. Moreover, they are suggesting that United should sign a new deal with Paul Pogba. But there are also expected departures. Phil Jones, Jesse Lingard, Andreas Pereira and Brendon Williams are on the list of departures.

On the flip side, the only player who would join the club is Ben White, who has enjoyed an impressive debut Premier League campaign. The Brighton defender is keen on a move to United but Brighton would demand somewhere between £30-50million. While two players could leave the club on a loan deal- Andreas Pereira and Diogo Dalot.
