Kalidou Koulibaly to Manchester City transfer takes a step closer as Napoli agree replacement deal

Manchester City have received a transfer boost as Napoli are closing on signing Kalido Koulibaly alternative. The Senegal international has been heavily linked with the move to Etihad as Citizens consider him as one of the main targets for the summer transfer window. Pep Guardiola's side have already made contact for the defender, while now they are negotiating for the transfer fee. Napoli are said to set a £62million price tag on the 29-year-old, while City value the player at around £55million and will stick to their valuation. Meanwhile, the Serie A side have agreed personal terms for the Lille defender, Gabriel Magalhaes, and could need to finalise the deal by selling Koulibaly. The Sky Blues have already secured the transfers of Ferran Torres and Nathan Ake so the move of the Senegalese could become the third one this summer in case of reaching a final agreement with Napoli.
