Napoli defender Kalidou Koulibaly has reportedly called owner Aurelio di Laurentiis to discuss his future at the club, according to CalcioNapoli24. City continues to look at the centre-back. Koulibaly is aware his value is has been lowered due to the pandemic, so has offered Napoli the opportunity to give him a new contract to stay. However, he will leave Napoli with a choice over whether to accept a lower offer from City for Koulibaly or pay more on an improved contract for him. The report also suggests City's relationship with Napoli is no closer to being resolved: "Naples and City challenge each other to the last rudeness. Agent Ramadani happily swims in unclear waters between hatred and resentment."
