Juventus sporting director Fabio Paratici says it was way too easy to sign Cristiano Ronaldo.
Portugal international has completed a move to Serie A from Real Madrid last summer for €115 m.
"Cristiano Ronaldo was quite simple because he wanted to come to Juventus and there was no need to convince him," Paratici told Sky Sport Italia (via
Mirror).
"I think he decided around May 25, after the Champions League final, and his response was immediate.
"The Portuguese's intentions were clear and he made it obvious from early on that Juventus was the only place he wanted to be.
"He told us that he only wanted to come to Juventus.
"We met with [Jorge] Mendes to talk about Joao Cancelo and we discussed Cristiano. Mendes told me: 'You won't believe it, but Cristiano Ronaldo wants to come to Juve,' Mendes told me.
"I spoke with the president and told him there was an opportunity, he asked me for a day or two to think about it, but then called me three hours later and told me to write the contracts." he added.
Ronaldo has scored 11 goals and provided 5 assists in 17 matches of Serie A so far.
