"Just null and void it", "Dream scenario" - Many Liverpool fans delighted as update emerges

Liverpool's form in the Champions League was not quite on the same level as their performances in the Premier League so far this campaign. The Reds won the competition last season. However, they lost to Atletico Madrid 4-2 aggregate. Meanwhile, the Premier League season has been suspended due to the current pandemic, with its return still in question.  According to The Sun, the European Union will not allow footballers to have an exemption from a 14-day quarantine when travelling to one of its countries. As such, the Champions League could well be scrapped. This news has delighted the Liverpool supporters.
