Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp says he does not need to talk about Timo Werner. The Blues confirmed they've agreed to sign the Germany international from RB Leipzig.
The Reds were expected to sign Werner after the forward publicly talked up a move to Anfield and hailed Klopp as the best manager in the world.
But Werner joined Chelsea instead. Werner will arrive at Stamford Bridge on a five-year contract worth £170,000-a-week. He will move to England at the end of the Bundesliga season and will become Chelsea’s second signing ahead of the next season after Hakim Ziyech.
He said: "We don't speak about transfers, especially of Chelsea. I have nothing to say. Timo Werner is a really good footballer. He's announced for Chelsea next season. That is it."
