Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has denied the club’s interest in Napoli’s Lorenzo Insigne.
It has been reported, that Klopp has made Insigne as a top target for the summer transfer window and his move to Anfield could be blocked by Premier League rivals, Chelsea.
Corriere Dello Sport suggested that Insigne would be more likely to pick Chelsea over Liverpool if had a choice.
However, Klopp has given an abrupt response to transfer speculations.
“We will not sign Lorenzo Insigne. He is a very good player but he has a long-term contract at Napoli," the Liverpool boss said. “We will not even try it."
Insigne has profited 13 goals and notched with six assists in all competitions this season so far.
