Jurgen Klopp's Marko Grujic decision as Liverpool change stance on midfielder

Liverpool are facing a major decision over Marko Grujic - after Jurgen Klopp changed his approach to the midfielder. Grujic has impressed in Germany over the past two seasons on loan at Hertha Berlin. But Klopp has opted to give Grujic a pre-season to prove he has something to offer at Anfield. He has been given some playing time in pre-season and could yet be kept around as an additional option in midfield. If not, Liverpool will look to sell permanently for a fee over £20million with Hertha Berlin waiting patiently for Klopp's final decision. Hertha chief Michael Preetz told Kicker: "[Grujic] is a Liverpool player who spent two years on loan with us. He has been in training with Liverpool for a few days [during pre-season]. Unlike last year, it was Liverpool's declared wish that Marko should take part in much of the preparation there. "Then there will certainly be a decision in England about Marko's immediate future: Will he be loaned out again? Is he for sale? Will he be part of the Liverpool team? That cannot be foreseen at the moment."
