Jurgen Klopp’s first comments: German is amazed by Alexander-Arnold's corner-kick (VIDEO)
Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp has spoken out on incredible comeback against Barcelona in Champions League semi-finals.
When asked if Trent Alexander-Arnold’s corner kick was an act of a genius, Klopp told BT Sports: “Oh my God, 100 percent. We had to be serious. We need to have the ball, but we needed to be cheeky as well and it was really necessary, because Barcelona defended well, and you need to be unpredictable in some moments. It’s easy to ask for, but it’s difficult to accomplish.”
“I didn’t see the corner, I saw the ball flying into the goal. Ben Woodburn looked at me and said: ”What happened? What happened?” I didn’t know who took the corner. It’s unbelievable. It’s just a genius moment” Klopp added.
