Liverpool end the year on top of the Premier League, with 54 points, after their 5-1 win over Arsenal at Anfield on Saturday.
Jurgen Klopp was in a happy mood after such a big win, and praised his players. (via Mirror)
“The reaction [to going behind] was obviously brilliant, absolutely brilliant,” Klopp told reporters after the game.
“We didn’t concede a lot of goals obviously this year so you never know exactly how the reaction will be if you concede one, especially the first in the game, but the reaction was brilliant, just outstanding.
“We increased the intensity again a little bit, immediately put them under pressure again.”
And when BBC sport reporter Juliette Ferrington asked, to sum up Liverpool’s 2018, his response was brilliant.
“A fantastic, fantastic year apart from one really shit day…”
Now that the @arsenal game is done and dusted thought I’d ask Klopp to sum up 2018:
“A fantastic, fantastic year apart from one really shit day…” #LFC
