Jurgen Klopp sends clear Gini Wijnaldum message to Liverpool in Burnley loss

Liverpool broke their 68-match unbeaten run at Anfield as they picked up a 1-0 loss from Burnley on Thursday night. Ashley Barnes scored the only goal of the game in the 83rd minute from a penalty strike. And Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp seemed to send a message to the club’s owners Fenway Sports Group over Georginio Wijnaldum and his contract situation. The Holland midfielder reportedly doesn't want to extend his stay at Merseyside, however, Klopp sends clear message to the club’s owners John W. Henry and Tom Werner of FSG that they should give him the financial backing to offer Wijnaldum what it takes to persuade him to stay. He told Sky Sports: "No. There is no update yet ( on Wijnaldum's contract situation). "I also think I am not the one who should give the update, the club should. If there will be an update the club will give it." Source- Daily and Sunday Express Join us on Telegram!
