Jurgen Klopp provides an update on Gini Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk

Liverpool are preparing to play against Monterrey in the FIFA Club World Cup tomorrow, December 18. Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp has provided an update on Georginio Wijnaldum and Virgil van Dijk. Wijnaldum, who traveled with the squad to Doha, was forced off in the 59th minute of Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Watford on Saturday, after having suffered a muscle injury. Meanwhile, Jurgen Klopp revealed that Virgil van Dijk is not dealing with any injury problem, although the player missed the Reds yesterday's training session. "Gini was not as serious as we thought in the first moment, so he's here doing the first recovery and then we have stuff what is necessary," said Jurgen Klopp during his pre-match press conference. "So we will see day by day but for tomorrow night he's not involved. "Virgil is fine. We had to do different stuff for recovery for different people, so that was the reason why he was not involved yesterday in the session, but Virgil is fine. All the rest of the squad is fine."  source - Liverpoolfc.com
