Jurgen Klopp provides Roberto Firmino injury update
Liverpool head Jurgen Klopp has revealed why Roberto Firmino has been out of the squad for today’s match against Huddersfield Town.
Brazil international got injured during the latest training session and is now recovering ahead of crucial Champions League semi-finals first leg against Barcelona at Camp Nou Stadium.
“Actually, yesterday after training he mentioned a little muscle issue. We assess it obviously. It's not a big thing but was enough to leave him out today, that's all.” Klopp said before the match (via Daily Mail).
Sadio Mane and Mo Salah scored twice, each while Naby Keita added one to seal another victory for Reds in title race.
Currently Merseyside club are the first, as Manchester City will play their match against Burnley on Sunday.
