Jurgen Klopp provides injury updates on Alisson and Keita

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on goalkeeper Alisson and Naby Keita, ahead of Saturday’s Premier League clash with Newcastle United. Alisson damaged his calf during the opening match against Norwich City after attempting to take a goal-kick. The Liverpool boss told the reporters Brazilian needs some time to get fully recovered: “Alisson is improving but we can't put any pressure on him. It was a serious injury in the calf but now it's much better. But we don't know exactly (how long he is out for). The target was always after the next international break.” Alisson's return could be possible on the 20th of October in the match against Manchester United. Keita, meanwhile, got injured during the UEFA Super Cup final last month. He could return to training next week. “Naby is close. He could be in training when we come back from Napoli next week,” said Klopp.
