Jurgen Klopp provides injury updates ahead of the Premier League game. One player is definitely out

Liverpool take on Huddersfield at the John Smith's Stadium tomorrow evening looking to maintain their unbeaten start to the season. Ahead of the game Liverpool boss, Jurgen Klopp has spoken out to the press. Boss on Injuries A few of the boys trained and we will see what they reacted after that. Pretty sure that Naby will not be available. Klopp confirms that only Keita, of the five injury doubts, is definitely out of Huddersfield game. The rest of the boys, we have to see how they react. Van Dijk Fine Football players play very often with some kind of pain. He has no problems with that (his ribs) any more. Wagner Birthday Happy birthday, Dave, he's 47 today. He looks a bit older! Two seasons they play at the moment - one performance wise, one results wise. They are in good shape. Jurgen Klopp said today that the clash with Huddersfield tomorrow is a ‘trap.’ Our analyst said they are much stronger than you can imagine. That's why I use the word 'trap'. They had more possession than Tottenham. There will be an outstanding atmosphere and we need to be ready. Miracle Hat-Trick If Huddersfield stays in the league this season then David will have a hat-trick of miracles. Wagner Present I’m hoping not to give him one tomorrow, to be honest. Not Worried I’m not worried about Dave’s situation at Huddersfield but I’m not worried about us going to Huddersfield. It will not be an easy game, it will be the opposite. If we do our best and do what we are good in, it will be difficult for Huddersfield. That is clear. Post-International Preparation You have to put a lot of information in during 2 days. We have to bring them together on one path again. Different systems, different ideas. Ready Reds? We know what they [international players] did intensity-wise during the week. We can watch the games but what they do in training you cannot know. We cannot ignore the travelling when you fly overnight and change time zones two or three times in eight or nine days. They are ready but I have to make a decision how ready they are. Trent Reaction He is a fantastic boy and a fantastic player. Thank God we have a few options to change the line-up. I don’t think it’s a challenge but if a player struggles with something like that [being dropped] he will struggle over his career. It was his birthday the City game so I thought the night before a lot of people might have contacted him so I didn’t want to disturb all these message exchanges. Joe can play there and with respect deserved to play. I think about the players I line-up first not what it would mean for Trent. It was nothing. He came back in a good shape and a good mood. Harry and Gini Virgil texted me and said that Gini should have scored a second goal (for the Netherlands)! We already knew about Harry Wilson's FK skills before this week. Nations League You don’t want to see Anthony Joshua fighting every other night. That’s not possible. In no other sports - the American football has a real, proper break. Basketball they have a summer league. Only football. Everyone wants big competitions where you can get relegated, promoted, playing for something. At one point we have to think do we want opera every night? I like competition but at one point somebody has to step back and think they are players, how can we make sure they perform? The Nations League is a good idea but do it in another sport. In football, there is no space for it. Lallana Closing In Hopefully, nobody forgot how good he was before his injury. He is extremely close to the team. Whether he will start, we will see. He's a proper option again. Fabinho Update Everyone asks you constantly, why doesn’t he play? There’s one reason, no other. Another player fits better in the slot. As long as there’s a player ahead who is fresh then it’s about the new player to close the gap. It always took time. When you do close the gap, go and make us better. That’s the plan.
