Jurgen Klopp has provided an injury update on Diogo Jota following Liverpool's 2-0 victory over Inter Milan in the Champions League last-16 first-leg game on Wednesday, February 16. Jota was substituted at half-time as Roberto Firmino came to replace him. After coming on in the second-half, Firmino scored the opener for the Reds, meanwhile, Mohamed Salah doubled their lead towards the end of the game. Following the game, Klopp said during a press conference: "No, I don't know that. A twisted ankle, it's swollen, that's not obviously a good sign, but we have to see. We will check it as early as possible tomorrow, but we need further assessment." The second leg of the game is scheduled for March 8. Meanwhile, the Reds will face Norwich City in the Premier League on Saturday, February 19.
