Jurgen Klopp was the only Premier League manager who wore rainbow laces

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was the only Premier League manager who wore rainbow laces during the Red’s 4-2 victory over Everton, on Wednesday night. The campaign supports members of the LGBT community in football and beyond. Liverpool already announced that they are supporting the campaign with a whole host of activity taking place across the club. Simon Thornton, diversity and inclusion senior manager at Liverpool FC, said: “We are proud to be supporting Stonewall’s Rainbow Laces campaign across the club. “The promotion of diversity and inclusion is something that we are committed to and passionate about. “From being the first Premier League club to march at a Pride parade eight years ago to the first club to achieve the Premier League’s Advanced Equality Standard, we are continually striving to do more, work with leaders in the field to improve, and be the best we can be.”
