Jurgen Klopp names the one thing Liverpool must do to beat Manchester City next season

Manchester City retained the Premier League title in style on Sunday, after the 4-1 victory over Brighton. While Liverpool finished second following the 2-0 victory against Wolves, despite 97 points. Jurgen Klopp hailed the Red’s record-breaking season and warned they will have to be near perfect to beat Manchester City. “First of all I have to say congratulations to City,” said the Liverpool boss. “They played an incredible season, we did too. As long as City are around with the quality they have, the financial power and all that stuff, it’s not like any other team will pass them easily. That’s clear. So we need to be very, very close to perfection to win the Premier League. But we have made unbelievably big steps and I really expect there’s more to come.” Sadio Mane scored twice against Wolves to finish with 22 Premier League goals and share the golden boot with Mohamed Salah and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, while Alisson won the golden glove for his 21st clean sheet. Klopp claimed these feats showed his side was one of Liverpool’s best.
