Jurgen Klopp must offload one of 7 players to fund Thiago Alcantara's transfer

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp will be forced to offload one of seven players if he wants to sign Thiago Alcantara this summer. The Bayern Munich midfielder continues to be linked with the Premier League side, however the Reds do not have the necessary funds to complete the signing. Thiago is valued at £27million by the Bundesliga side. And in order to fund the transfer of the midfielder, Jurgen Klopp must sell one of the seven midfielders at the club, according to The Times. From the seven midfielders only Marko Grujic would be deemed disposable. Of the other six midfielders, captain Jordan Henderson, Fabinho, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain and Naby Keita are practically indispensable. James Milner is again not up for sale as he has been a key player to Jurgen Klopp's side. As well as Georginio Wijnaldum, who could leave the club for free next summer, however Liverpool are preparing to offer him contract extension.
