Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is reportedly still keen on making a “dream” move for Kylian Mbappe – and remains in contact with the Paris Saint-Germain superstar.
The French superstar is the player seen as most likely to take the title of the world’s best player, with Cristiano Ronaldo and Lionel Messi seemingly in the twilight of their careers.
Along with Liverpool, Real Madrid are believed to be seriously tracking the 22-year-old, although Klopp is looking to beat the Spanish giants to his signature.
According to AS, the Reds boss has been in ‘contact’ with Mbappe in the hope of convincing him of a move to Anfield.
The report also claims that Klopp ‘dreams’ of signing Mbappe and wants him to spearhead Liverpool’s attack which already boasts Mohamed Salah, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane.
Mbappe helped France win the World Cup in 2018 and already has 14 goals and seven assists in just 18 appearances this season.
