Jurgen Klopp issues Virgil van Dijk update ahead of Leicester Clash

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Virgil van Dijk to train on Tuesday and should be healthy to play for the Reds against Leicester on Wednesday.

“Virgil was a bit ill but he should train today and then we will see,” the German said in his pre-match press conference.

Klopp also had positive news on Gini Wijnaldum and Fabinho, but Trent Alexander-Arnold will remain sidelined.

“Gini trained, Fabinho will train today,” he added. “Trent getting closer and closer but not available.”
