After 2-0 defeat to Napoli, Liverpool are preparing to host Red Bull Salzburg in the Champions League on Wednesday, October 2.
Ahead of the game, Jurgen Klopp gave a press conference and spoke out on Alisson's return, Carabao Cup punishment and many more.
On Carabao Cup punishment
“My only concern is the player. If he would not be allowed to play now it would be the biggest problem. If we made a mistake, I’m not sure we did, the player should not be punished.”
On Alisson return
“There are two opinions. One is Ali, one is the medical department. We should wait. We have to see. He’s training well but it was a serious injury. We won’t take a risk. We’ll have to see for Leicester but United 100 percent.”
On Erling Haaland
"Wonderful player, young, very confident. Looks clear minded on the pitch. Looks like a decent player and he's in the perfect place at the moment to prepare for the next challenges of his life."
On Virgil van Dijk
"I'm really happy with all my defenders but he's the best in the world, or at least best in this moment."
On Matip and Shaqiri
"Shaq I don't know 100 per cent. He will not be ready for tomorrow but he is still in the hands of the medics. It's not a big one [injury] but we don't want to take any risks."
