Jurgen Klopp admits Liverpool have achieved what he never thought possible

Liverpool celebrated a 1-0 victory over Tottenham in the Premier League on Saturday and set a record for the number of wins (20) after 21 matches in the history of Top – 5 leagues. With the win the Reds are currently leading the league table with 16 points ahead of second placed Leicester City. Jurgen Klopp's side have collected 61 points out of possible 63 with having not lost any games this season in the Premier League. However, Klopp revealed that he "didn't feel anything" when he was told about Liverpool's record. “I really try to respond in an appropriate way, but when somebody told me I didn't feel anything," said Klopp. “I have been in football 50 years or so, and if somebody would have told me it would ever happen, I'd have probably said it's not possible. “Now it's happened, I don't feel. I don't know exactly what's wrong with me! “But it's really cool, it's exceptional. We analysed after the game and told the boys what we could and should have done better, but of course I know if it was easy to have so many wins then other teams would have done it. “It's very exceptional. But we didn't think a second about it before the game, I didn't and afterwards someone had to remind me about it.” source - LiverpoolECHO
