Julian Nagelsmann's comments on Timo Werner could concern Chelsea fans

RB Leipzig boss Julian Nagelsmann has admitted that he may not have selected Timo Werner for their Champions League clash against Atletico Madrid had he still been at the club. The German has joined Chelsea after a £54m deal. He registered his best goalscoring season to date for the Bundesliga outfit. Nagelsmann's reasons for potentially leaving Werner out of the starting XI may be a cause for concern for those in west London. The 24-year-old bagged 34 times in all competitions with his pace among his best assets. He told BT Sport: "The opponents are not perhaps the best for Timo Werner because there's not a lot of space behind the defensive line. Today we decided to play with three offensive midfielders to create the spaces between the lines, and all the three midfielders did very well." A lack of space in behind maybe something that Werner will have to regularly deal with next season. Source: The Mirror
