Manchester City will look to discuss a new contract with the club star Raheem Sterling, according to journalist Jack Gaughan.
Earlier this month, City was reported to be included in a potential swap deal, that could have seen Harry Kane joining the newly-crowned champions from Tottenham.
Sterling had no interest to join the Spurs, though he was open to making a move to a club that is capable of playing in a Champions League.
Now, Gaughan claims that City are preparing to hold talks with Sterling, whose current deal is set to expire in 2023.
