CIES Football Observatory have presented their 60th Monthly Report that contains a technical analysis of footballers' performances in 35 domestic leagues of UEFA member associations.
The data, produced by the company InStat, refers to the 2020/21 season (or 2020 for the summer championships) up until the 7th December.
For their analysis, CIES Football Observatory have taken into consideration the most important game actions for one’s team to win from both an offensive and defensive standpoint.
Let's take a look at the Top 10 Premier League players that were the best in shooting during the first-half of the 2020/21 campaign.
Liverpool attacker Mohamed Salah leads the top, while his teammate, Diogo Jota, is in 3rd place.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton has been impressive this season, filling the 2nd place on the list.
Tottenham duo Harry Kane and Heung-min Son have also been included in the top 10, while Manchester United's Bruno Fernandes finishes the top 4.
