Josh Kroenke’s future role at Arsenal revealed

Josh Kroenke will not be replacing Ivan Gazidis as Arsenal’s CEO. Josh, who is Stan Kroenke’s son was expected to take over from Gazidis but according to football London that will not be the case. Sanllehi will now be head of football and Venkatesham will become managing director. The two will oversee all major operations at Arsenal, with Sanllehi focusing on football matters and Venkatesham looking after the business side of things. Josh is expected to take more of a role at Arsenal going forward following Stan’s full takeover of the club. The work he does back in the States with the three KSE franchises make it impossible for him to take over as Arsenal’s CEO - a full-time role that would involve him moving permanently to England. Josh is far more likely to potentially replace Sir Chips Keswick as chairman
