Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United chiefs to agree bargain transfer for Tottenham star
Reportedly, Jose Mourinho wants Manchester United to agree a January deal for Tottenham Hotspur defender Toby Alderweireld.
Alderweireld was a top target for United last summer but they couldn’t sign a deal because of the £75million price tag. But despite missing out on Alderweireld in the summer, the Evening Standard say Mourinho remains a huge admirer of the 29-year-old and is keen to secure his signature.
After a poor start to the season Mourinho’s fell 12 points adrift of Premier League leaders Manchester City and the boss will look to strengthen his squad if not in January then in the upcoming summer.
