Jose Mourinho says Tottenham "believe" they can beat Liverpool despite injuries

Tottenham boss Jose Mourinho has said his side "believe" they can do the impossible and beat Liverpool tonight (Saturday). Liverpool are 13-points clear at the top of the Premier League table and are expected to continue their unbeating campaign this season. Spurs will play without team talisman Harry Kane and captain Hugo Lloris, Moussa Sissoko is sidelined, as is Ben Davies and Tanguy Ndombele, while Danny Rose faces a late fitness test. However, Spurs boss is optimistic they can beat the Reds despite injuries. Speaking to Spurs TV, Mourinho said: “We know we’re missing some important players. We know at this moment everything is going amazingly well for Liverpool.  “We know, especially people who have been in that position, that sometimes you are in a situation that even when you miss a shot, you score a goal.  “They are in this phenomenal moment. But we believe in us. We believe in our work. We believe that missing important players opens an opportunity for other people.  Spurs are currently 8th in the Premier League with 30 points in total.
