Jose Mourinho still believes in miracle amid Zinedine Zidane links

Jose Mourinho has claimed it will be a miracle if Manchester United secure fourth spot this season. Red Devils had a 2-2 draw with Southampton on Saturday but it was an abject display from the heavyweights. When asked about his hopes for the rest of the season, he replied: “Try to win as many points as possible and try almost the miracle of finishing fourth.” Mourinho appears on borrowed time at the Theatre of Dreams. However, ESPN claim the club are still reluctant to axe the 55-year-old with Manchester Unitedstill in the Champions League. The Red Devils, meanwhile, continue to be linked with ex-Real Madrid boss Zinedine Zidane. The Frenchman is the bookies’ favourite to take over at Old Trafford should Mourinho get the chop.
