Jose Mourinho has left Paulo Gazzaniga and Gedson Fernandes out of his Tottenham squad for the Europa League group stages.
Gazzaniga has been linked with the move away from North London club during the summer transfer window, while Gerdson has found his playing time limited at the club.
Amid the arrival of Sergio Reguilon and Carlos Vinicius, the club boss had to free up two more spaces so that Spurs duo was not included in the first team squad.
Danny Rose, who has not been training with the first team, has also been left out of Europa League squad. His Tottenham future is unclear, with the player having just eight months on his current contract with the Lilywhites.
Juan Foyth was not named in the squad either due to his loan move to Villarreal, while Ryan Sessegnon has been removed from the squad as he joined Hoffenheim on loan. His removal could mean that Jack Clarke can now be registered for the first team squad.
